Breast Health Screenings
The Women's Imaging Center offers digital mammograms and stereotactic biopsies for the detection of abnormalities in the breast tissue. Digital mammograms are especially important for women under 35 and those of any age with dense breasts, because they detect masses in the breast far better than traditional mammograms. Stereotactic biopsy uses X-rays to guide the physician in obtaining a sample of suspicious breast tissue for examination.
Hypertension/Cholesterol/Diabetes Screenings
The Tuomey Industrial Medicine and Wellness department offers free hypertension, cholesterol and diabetes screenings each month for the convenience of community members. These screenings are scheduled at various locations throughout Sumter County.

Prostate Screenings
Tuomey Industrial Medicine and Wellness offers Prostate Screenings by appointment for only $20. The Prostate Specific Antigen Blood Test measures PSA levels in men’s blood as a screening for prostate cancer.
