Industrial Medicine
Good health is good business. That’s why Tuomey’s Industrial Medicine and Wellness Program (IMWP) offers a “total program” to Sumter-area industries and their employees—helping deliver safer and healthier workplaces in a high-quality, cost-effective manner.
The program meets the individualized needs of each employer and provides treatment and prevention of occupational injury, evaluation and control of health hazards, quality counseling, exceptional healthcare, wellness promotion and assurance of industry compliance with related regulations.

Screening
Tuomey offers regular screenings to the public through our Community Health Initiatives for:
- Alcohol and drug use
- Blood pressure/hypertension
- Cholesterol
- Diabetes
- Prostate
These screenings are performed at locations throughout our service area, including churches, workplaces, health fairs, the Swan Lake Visitors’ Center and the YMCA.
