The Core Institute is an exciting program committed to helping
students reach their maximum physical and intellectual potential. The
Core Institute uses a fun approach to strengthen bodies, minds and
attitudes, which in turn improves a child’s motivation, confidence and
core skills. The Core Institute works with all students, ranging from
highly performing students who would benefit from enrichment programs to
accelerate their potential to those who are doing poorly in school
despite their capabilities, suffering from self-esteem issues or mired
in behavioral problems. The Core Institute also addresses the needs of
parents whose relationship with those children may have become a
struggle, offering them a more peaceful path to parenting.
Opened in summer 2009, The Core Institute offers both academic and
athletic performance development for children and their families. A
comprehensive assessment can identify core performance, sensory and
cognitive problem areas and lead to effective interventions. We also
offer enrichment classes to fully develop academic and athletic
possibilities for toddlers on up, as well as parent training classes.
The Core Institute’s goal is to help children and families discover and
fulfill the promise of their potential, and to close the gap between
what is and what can be! The Core Institute is located in a
5000-square-foot facility on Alice Drive that includes two gyms, a
climbing wall and an academic center to combine academic learning with
athletic performance development and give students the tools they need
to find success in an increasingly competitive world.
