Bell Women and Infants Pavilion

Built in 2007, the James E. Bell Jr., MD Women and Infants Pavilion is a $23.6 million, 18,000-square-foot facility dedicated to women and babies. It features 24 beautifully appointed, spacious inpatient rooms with modern room design and furniture selected for optimum comfort and in-room treatment/examinations.

Additionally, the nursery system includes four separate nurseries meeting Level II Nursery certification to treat high-risk newborns, including both an admission nursery for babies needing more intensive assistance and a continuing care nursery for high-risk babies who need to stay at Tuomey for an extended period of time.  

The Bell Women and Infants Pavilion also features high-risk incubators and completely customizable baby stations; a bereavement room; four antepartum rooms; breastfeeding rooms; wrist and ankle monitors for both mother and baby; an education nurse and lactation consultant; and nurses trained in car seat safety, infant/child CPR and more.
