Tuomey Healthcare System houses a state-of-the-art laboratory, which includes three outpatient drawing stations that provide optimum convenience for outpatient services. There are more than 600,000 tests performed annually in the main laboratory on cutting edge equipment and instrumentation.
Tuomey also contracts with Quest Diagnostics,
one of the largest laboratories in the world, for most testing that is
not performed in our facility. The laboratory at Tuomey Healthcare
System maintains a CAP accreditation, and it was the first laboratory in
the state to become ISO 9001:2000 certified.
