Hospice isn’t about “giving up” -- it’s about taking control of the end of your life, adding life to your days. When you’re suffering through a terminal illness, Tuomey Hospice can ease your pain and provide you comfort so that you and your family can focus on the things that are most important in your life.
A terminal illness affects the entire family. At TUOMEY HOSPICE, we understand, and we can help. Our healthcare professionals work as a team to provide compassionate end-of-life care, tending to the mind, body and spirit of the patient and allowing the family to remain lovingly attentive.
Our staff

At Tuomey Hospice, we'll put our whole team to work for you and your family.
- PHYSICAL CARE: Nurses make regular visits; Home Health aides provide daily care and patient-related household duties.
- PSYCHOSOCIAL CARE: A medical social worker deals with the needs of those facing a terminal illness -- coordinating services with doctors; exploring legal, financial and social resources; and offering education about the grieving process.
- SPIRITUAL CARE: A chaplain offers support and pastoral counseling for the patient and family.
Through this in-home program, Tuomey nurses are specialized in compassionate care for people in the last phases of incurable disease to help them live as fully and comfortably as possible.
