Press Ganey

Tuomey Healthcare System uses Press Ganey as their partner to gather patient satisfaction data based on their experience with us.  A paper survey is mailed to 100 percent of our inpatients over the age of 18.  Other surveys are mailed for ambulatory surgery patients based on a random selection process.  Surveys are also used for Home Health and Hospice. Press Ganey's survey data allows Tuomey to compare its satisfaction scores to peer groups, e.g., hospitals with the same bed volume, to benchmark their scores. Tuomey’s Home Health Services, for example, ranked consistently in the 98 to 99th percentile range during 2008.
