The Tuomey Foundation was established in October 1995 as the philanthropic arm of Tuomey Healthcare System. It was created for the purpose of enhancing patient care within the walls of the hospital and providing support for programs and services that take Tuomey's caring arm into the community.
Through The Tuomey Foundation, individuals, families, businesses and other foundations are provided with a vehicle in which they can financially support programs and services offered by the hospital.
Tuomey Healthcare System has invested in The Tuomey Foundation by providing for 100% of its operating expenses. This commitment to better healthcare for our community also means that there are no administrative fees taken from gift dollars. Your entire contribution goes towards the area of choice.
The Tuomey Foundation Board of Governors are the caretakers of all treasures given to the foundation. They ensure proper stewardship and oversee the planning and execution of the foundation's work (see board membership list).
